RECERTIFICATION MANDATORY OF THE CD AND CD4 CATEGORIES: PESTICIDES AND ORNAMENTAL HORTICULTURE
The QGSA plans to help its members!
Mandatory recertification: application of pesticides
Within the framework of a national upgrade of mobility of the workforce, the Ministère du développement durable, de l’environnement et des parcs announces that the applicators of pesticides (superintendents and assistant superintendents of Quebec) will have to pass 2 exams. You have to successfully pass those exams before your certificate expires.
According to the agronomists who passed them within the last weeks, these examinations absolutely require, sessions of preparation. Failing in one of the examinations requires a waiting period of 6 months. "It is necessary to understand that even if the participants have a good base, the questions of the common-core syllabus address as much the farmers as the exterminators as the users on industrial grounds, etc. It is necessary to be well-prepared." Nancy Morin, agr.
The file on their policy for re-doing an examination is available at the following address: http://www.sofad.qc.ca/ssm/pdf/politiques/reprise_examen.pdf
