There are different ways to start your new career. Here is a traditional career path taken by many superintendents who have joined the QGSA in recent years:

- Apply for a QGSA bursary through the superintendent at your golf course, and ask your employer about tax measures to encourage training.
- The ITA’s 600-hour program comprises three levels taught over a two-year period, depending on demand. Students perfect their skills and knowledge, become more effective in their work, and open up numerous job possibilities in one of the world’s best professions.
