Syngenta Professional Solutions welcomes Pat Moir as Turf Specialist for Quebec and the Maritimes

Syngenta Canada is pleased to announce that Pat Moir will be joining the Professional Solutions team as Turf Specialist for Quebec and the Maritimes, starting this fall. As a golf industry professional with almost 30 years of golf course experience in the eastern Canadian market, Pat’s wealth of knowledge will nurture our ambition to empower turf management professionals through our science and educational initiatives.

“We are excited to have Pat join our Syngenta team,” shares Dale Kobelsky, head, Professional Solutions Canada. “Pat will support our turf customers and retail partners as well as lead technical training to help enrich the golf playing experience.” Pat holds a Diploma in Agriculture Turfgrass Management from the University of Guelph and brings with him a knowledge and commitment to the turf industry that has earned him the respect of his peers. In his career, he spent more than 20 years as the Superintendent at Hillsdale Golf and Country Club where he hosted the CN Women’s Open in 2011. He has also been the past president of the Canadian Golf Course Superintendents Association (CGSA) and a former director of the Quebec Golf Course Superintendents Association (QGSA). Pat will start with Syngenta on October 1, 2020.
